Stitching Worlds is an arts-based project connecting the shared artistic research territory between arts, design, open culture, digital fabrication, information technology and electronics to the engineering and scientific methodologies of textile technology.
The project is funded by the Program for Arts-Based Research of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) and will be running from May 2014 to October 2016, hosted at the University for Applied Art in Vienna, Austria in the Department of Industrial Design headed by Professor Fiona Raby.
This website will document the research process, the theoretical and practical investigations taken throughout the project time.
